There are a number of key developments on the ground in North East Lincolnshire at the moment:
- SHIIP (South Humber Industrial Investment Programme) is an ambitious £42-million project, which represents the largest such investment of its kind ever made in North East Lincolnshire. Work is already progressing well to transform vast areas of land along the South Humber bank into highly attractive areas where business and industry will want to invest.
- Cleethorpes regeneration programme: £6.7million of external funding has been secured to invest in the resort up to 2022. This includes a number of projects throughout the resort, improving public spaces, introducing public art and preserving some of the resort’s heritage features.
- Grimsby regeneration programme: a number of projects throughout Grimsby including the Greater Grimsby Town Deal, regeneration of the town centre and introducing new business to the Kasbah area of the port
