We are a group of professional business referrers who know their way around grant funding, finance options, lending products and financial services and can look at ways of helping you in your preparation.
The Hub team are able to put you in contact with suitable commercial lenders including banks, finance companies, gap funders and peer to peer lenders to help your business move forward. We can help you understand which publicly-backed financial services are available and help you to discover finance options that you may not be aware of and have not even considered.
With more than 100 years experience in the sector between us, we offer a free, impartial service that you can trust.
The Investment Hub is open to enquiries from businesses of all sectors, however large or small, and also to advisors or intermediaries acting on behalf of their client. We also welcome contact from investors who can offer financial support to businesses in our area.

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership’s ‘Growing the Humber’ Local Growth Fund (LGF) Programme is a £8m scheme to help grow businesses in the Humber area, including North East Lincolnshire.
Launched in April 2015, having secured funding through the Government’s Growth Deal, the Programme is designed to unlock projects that have the potential for job creation and growth.
Funding is available to existing SME businesses across the Humber area (North Lincolnshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull and North East Lincolnshire)
- The minimum level of grant available is £5,000
- The maximum level of grant available is £200,000

The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership’s Business Loan Fund provides loans to businesses to help get stalled development projects off the ground.
It is designed to unlock capital projects that have the potential for job creation and can quickly deliver tangible economic outcomes through providing additional capital investment.
The aim of the loan fund is to support development projects which have a significant economic impact and support sustainable job creation.
The fund will be allocated by the Humber LEP’s Investment Board which comprises private sector business leaders.

Our programme seeks to establish innovative and financially sustainable services that will enable people in need to avoid hospital admissions, stay in their own homes longer and ensure that people can lead as normal a life as possible during an illness or as a result of incapacity. We can help your business save money and energy!
Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire is a £9.2 million project that aims to provide free energy and low carbon services to small to medium businesses (SME’s) and Public buildings in the Greater Lincolnshire area. The programme is being delivered by North East Lincolnshire Council on behalf of Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
A total of £5.4 million of the project has come from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), to boost renewable energy use in the area and lower carbon emissions.
If you are a small to medium enterprise located in the Greater Lincolnshire area with less than 250 employees and a turnover of less than 50 million euros; you could be eligible. We offer two different types of funding:
Workshop with a free £500 gift
For small energy projects e.g. replacement of lights, we can offer a £500 gift to help cover the cost. For this funding you must have received 12 hours business support from the programme.
A grant to cover 38% of an energy saving project
For larger projects we can help you cover the total cost with a grant of up to 38%. Examples are upgrading to LED lighting, or new boilers/heating systems.
As part of our service our expert partners, The University of Applied Sciences Trier’s Institut fur angewandtes Stroffstrom management (IfaS), who specialize in energy resource and efficiency; will come to visit your site to provide you with a free energy report with recommendations. Once the report has been produced it is then up to you what you do next.
We are working with owners of public buildings to upgrade energy efficiency in buildings, generate renewable energy and install smart energy management systems. In order to be eligible they must be located within the Greater Lincolnshire area. Examples include schools and local authority buildings.
