Works to Grade II listed structure, Corporation Road Bridge, have been progressing.
The steel work repairs are ongoing to both sides of the bridge deck. Application of the primer and paint coatings has also been ongoing along with required preparation works and inspections. Control room works are in progress and all rotten timbers and corroded steels are being removed.
To continue the mechanical preparation works to the underdeck of the bridge, weekend working is required due to expected low tidal levels. Footpath closures are also required whilst works are undertaken adjacent to public areas to ensure the safety of both the public and the contractor.
Footpath closures will take place between 9am and 4pm each weekday. The footway will remain open during the weekend working dates. Temporary signs will be in place for the footway closures.

- Saturday 13 April– weekend working
- Sunday 14 April – weekend working
- Wednesday 17 April – footpath closure
- Saturday 20 April– weekend working
