Visitor survey for two of Cleethorpes’ key streets

12:04 pm, Wednesday, 27th May 2020

WHAT do you like best about Cleethorpes and how often do you visit Sea View Street and Alexandra Road – two of the resort’s popular retail and leisure areas?

Take part in an online survey that focuses on these two streets and you could win one of three cash prizes – as well as play a part in helping to shape an important heritage project, which is currently underway.

Launched today, Wednesday May 27, the Cleethorpes Visitor Survey has been transferred online instead of its originally planned street interview format, to ensure it can go-ahead during the present coronavirus restrictions.

Carried out by the independent market research company Information by Design, on behalf of North East Lincolnshire Council and its regeneration partner ENGIE, the survey is part of the Discover Cleethorpes Townscape Heritage Project.

It wants to determine what visitors remember about recent trips, what they visited, how long they stayed for and why, and what was their overall experience of the two streets.

The results will be used to help inform some of the project work, which is happening in Cleethorpes as it moves forward, with a main purpose of preserving some of the resort’s richest heritage for future generations to enjoy.

The names of those who complete it properly will be put into a draw with three cash prizes to win – with a top prize of £30, and two of £10.
